Women's Soccer Picked to Finish 11th in 2015
The Mars Hill women’s soccer team was picked to finish in 11th place in the South Atlantic Conference
ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team was picked to finish in 11th place in the South Atlantic Conference in a preseason poll of the league's coaches, conference officials announced today.
The Lions earned 33 points, two points behind 10th place Coker and two points ahead of 12th place Brevard.
Lenoir-Rhyne, currently ranked No. 12 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II Preseason Poll, notched seven first-place votes and 127 points by the League's head coaches as the preseason favorite. Wingate was picked to finish in second place, followed by Lincoln Memorial, Newberry and Catawba.
