Appalachian Swim Conference Championship Results
BAURBERVILLE, Ky.-After Friday's competition, the men's and women's combined swimming teams sit in fourth place with 327 points at the Appalachian Swim Conference Championships.
After one day of competition, the women's team currently sits in fourth place with 176 points, while the men's team sits in fifth place with 151 points. Nicole Day paced the women's team with a victory in the 200 Backstroke, and Hudson Tucker paced the men's team with a victory in the 100 Free. Tucker was also part of the Men's 400 Medley Relay Team that won its event, along with Audley Elder, Tyler Treadway, and Trey McGraw.
Other notable men's results included McGraw's second place finish in the 200 IM, Elder's second place finish in the 100 Breast Stroke, and Treadway's second place finish in the 200 Butterfly.
Other notable women's results included Nikki Holt's fifth place finish in the 200 Butterfly. The 200 Free Relay Team, consisting of Maggie Mills, Taylor Bugg, Rachel Louviaux, and Lena Palo placed sixth.
The two teams will continue their competition in the Appalachian
Swim Conference Championships today.
