Mars Hill Sweeps King and Milligan
BRISTOL, Tenn.-- The Mars Hill women's swimming team swept King and Milligan in an Appalachian Swim Conference tri-meet held at Bristol High School Saturday afternoon.
The Lions defeated Milligan 95-27 and earned an 83-41 victory over King. Elle Grier and Nicole Day each won three events to pace Mars Hill. The victories improved the Lions to 6-1 overall, with the same record in conference swims.

Grier took first in the 200 Fly, 1000 Free and 500 Free. Grier's 1000 Free time of 11:25.52 was 11 seconds better than the second-place finisher.
Day won the 100 Fly and 200 Back, and was a member of the victorious 400 Free Relay Team. The 400 Relay Team was made up of Day, Taylor Bugg, Rachel Louviaux and Maggie Mills. In addition to being a part of the 400 Relay team, Mills also earned a win in the 100 Free.
Megan Bartlett and Laren Davis added wins in the 200 Breaststroke and 100 Breastroke respectively.
Mars Hill will swim in the Fall Frenzy Invite, which begins Nov. 16 at 10:00 a.m. in Charlotte, N.C.
