Women's Swimming WIns Fifth Straight Dual Meet
BRISTOL, TENN. – The Mars Hill women’s swim team collected its second win of the season over King University on Friday.
BRISTOL, TENN. – The Mars Hill women's swim team collected its second win of the season over King University on Friday. The Lions tallied their fifth consecutive dual victory, outlasting the Tornado by a score of 97-86.
Abby Harty and Kathryn Boland each recorded two victories on the evening. Harty picked up wins in the 1000 and 500 free, while helping the 200 medley relay team. Boland captured the 200 IM and 100 breast crowns and was also on the 200 medley relay team.
Sallimae Blethroad earned a win in the 100 back, while Rachel Nichols teamed up with Blethroad, Boland, and Harty to win the 200 medley relay.
The Lions will return to action on Saturday, January 21 as they host Milligan and Warren Wilson on Senior Day. The duals are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
