Mars Hill takes down Warriors on road
The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-4) downed Southern Wesleyan (1-6) in non-conference play on the road Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-2.
CENTRAL, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-4) downed Southern Wesleyan (1-6) in non-conference play on the road Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-2.
Despite dropping two of three doubles matches, the Lions roared back in singles competition to take five of six matches. Both Evan Lake and Sophia Pelaez won their matches in three sets while Julianne Launay, Victoria Franklin and Kat Horner won in straight sets.
Mars Hill returns to action on Tuesday, March 5th when they take on Salem International at the Hart Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
