Mars Hill falls to Carson-Newman in SAC action

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-9, 0-6 SAC) was shutout by Carson-Newman (7-6, 4-2 SAC) in South Atlantic Conference play Wednesday afternoon on the road.

Evan Lake took the first set in tiebreaker fashion over Ana Carla Resende, however, the Eagle was able to take the next two sets to secure the sweep.

Mars Hill returns to action on Friday, March 29th when they take on Newberry on the road.  First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
