Lions shine at USC Indoor Open
The Mars Hill women's indoor track and field team competed at the USC Indoor Open Saturday afternoon.
COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's indoor track and field team competed at the USC Indoor Open Saturday afternoon.
Kylee Peck placed first overall in the high jump, recording a mark of 1.57 meters and in the shot put, Tiffany Holloway placed 10th with a distance of 12.22 meters. In the triple jump, Shaniqua Stevens placed 10th with a distance of 11.24 meters and Shahnika Williams, in the long jump, placed 20th overall with a distance of 5.11 meters.
In the mile race, Sydney Britt finished 22nd with a time of 5:53.81 while Hannah Jones placed 29th with a time of 7:04.94.

Mars Hill will next compete at the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday, February 23rd.
