Mars Hill volleyball’s Lauren Hochstetler was named to the 2017 Academic All-America® Division II Volleyball Team as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Tuesday afternoon. Hochstetler was named First Team for the first time in her career.

The Mars Hill volleyball team dropped their 2017 regular season finale against Anderson, 3-0 (20-25, 13-25, 26-28) in Stanford Arena Saturday afternoon. The Lions honored Sara Fahrenbrook, Ellen Davis, Lauren Hochstetler and Rebecca Butler prior to first serve on senior day.

Anderson won its first-ever South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship as it captured the 2017 Title. With the crown, the Trojans have earned the No. 1 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Championship, it was determined today as the Conference season concluded this afternoon.
