Lions Land Three on ASC All-Academic Team
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill men’s and women’s swim teams have placed three athletes on the Appalachian Swim Conference All-Academic Team.
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's and women's swim teams have placed three athletes on the Appalachian Swim Conference All-Academic Team. Ryan Martin and Zack Naelitz represent the men while Marissa Hall joins the list from the women's side.
In order to qualify for the All-Academic team each swimmer must be a junior or senior within the classroom and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Martin, a junior from Clarkesville, Ga., currently sports a 3.61 average in Computer Science.
Naelitz, a senior from Cartersville, Ga., is an Athletic Training major with a stellar grade point average of 3.72.
On the ladies side, junior Marissa Hall, a native of Fort Pierce, Fla., is majoring in Business Administration and has compiled a 3.79 GPA thus far.
