Mars Hill kicks off 2021 versus Eagles on road
The Mars Hill men's swim team fell to Carson-Newman by a score of 203-42 Saturday afternoon on the road.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's swim team fell to Carson-Newman by a score of 203-42 Saturday afternoon on the road.
Brendon Cyprianos earned four points in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:11.08 and in the 200 yard backstroke, turning in a time of 2:07.39. He placed third in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 55.88 for an additional three points.
In the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke, Matthew Goslin placed third with times of 1:01.39 and 2:17.81, respectively, earning a total of six points for the Lions.
The quartet of Cyprianos, Goslin, Thomas Gibson, and Matthew Kowalczyk posted a time of 1:40.70 in the 200 yard medley relay. Goslin and Cyprianos, along with Ryan Adams and Dalton Davidson recorded a time of 3:39.16 in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
