Guerrero Has Solid Day at Anderson
Senior Euquerio Guerrero won two matches but it wasn’t enough as Anderson defeated Mars Hill 7-2
ANDERSON, S.C.- Senior Euquerio Guerrero won two matches but it wasn't enough as Anderson defeated Mars Hill 7-2 in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action on Saturday at Max Grubbs Memorial Courts. Anderson improves to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in league play while Mars Hill drops to 4-4 and 0-3.
Guerrero and Alberto Ortiz teamed up to defeat Nicolas Ascarrunz and Juan Carracedo 8-5 at number one doubles. Guerrero bested Ascarrunz 7-5, 6-2 at the top singles court for his fourth consecutive win at that flight.
Sam Lee dropped a third set tiebreaker to Harrison Kansol, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 on court six singles.
Mars Hill travels to Tusculum on Thursday for a 1 p.m. match.
