Men's Tennis Drops Road Contest to Lenoir-Rhyne

HICKORY, N.C. – The Mars Hill men’s tennis team dropped a South Atlantic Conference match against Lenoir-Rhyne, 6-3, on Thursday, February 25. MHU drops to 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the SAC.

HICKORY, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's tennis team dropped a South Atlantic Conference match against Lenoir-Rhyne, 6-3, on Thursday, February 25. MHU drops to 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the SAC.

Alberto Ortiz dropped his first set against Patrick Bauer 1-6, but rallied to take the next two by scores of 6-4, 6-1 to capture the singles victory. Sam Lee also tallied a singles victory with a straight set win over Filip Dobrosavljevic (6-4 and 7-5).

Markus Gattner and Ben Reid were able to take the only doubles win for the Lions on the afternoon, downing Tomas Hons and Matthew Ledford 8-6.
