Lions edged by Eagles in SAC play

MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team was narrowly defeated, 5-4, by Carson-Newman Thursday afternoon at the Hart Tennis Center in South Atlantic Conference play.
After getting swept in doubles competition, the Lions fell short in their effort by winning 4-of-6 singles matches. Ben Reid and Tom Farman each took down their opponents in three sets, while Kyrel Trim and Pedro Pinassi each rolled through their matches with 8-3 scores.
