Women's Swimming Falls to Catawba
The Mars Hill women’s swimming team lost at Catawba 126-64.
SALISBURY, N.C.- The Mars Hill women's swimming team lost at Catawba 126-64 on Saturday. The Lions drop to 2-3 in dual meets this season.
Abby Harty won two events, the 200 Yard IM (2:16.60) and 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:15.53). Harty finished in second place in the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:31.85). Elle Grier was the winner in the 1000 Yard Freestyle (11:23.03).
Mars Hill returns to action on Saturday, January 31 as the Lions honor seniors Emma Duffy, Maggie Mills and Rachel Louviaux in a tri-meet at 3 p.m.
