Holloway places sixth in shot put at Buccaneer Invitational
The Mars Hill women's indoor track and field team closed out the Buccaneer Invitational Saturday afternoon.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill women's indoor track and field team closed out the Buccaneer Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Tiffany Holloway placed sixth in the shot put, recording a mark of 12.67 meters (41'7"). In the triple jump, Shaniqua Stevens notched a top 10 finish, placing eighth with a mark of 10.92 meters (35'10").
Running in the 3000 meter race, Nyla Feeney placed 13th overall with a time of 11:08.67. In the same race, Rachel Strickland turned in a time of 12:05.47.
