Cortez Huckleby was named Director of Internal Operations in the summer of 2025.

Huckleby transferred to Mars Hill University in 2023 from Tiffin University, looking for a fresh start and a place to grow. He joined the football team, got involved with the athletic department through field work, and eventually stepped into a game day operations internship.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sports Management, earning cum laude honors with a 3.61 GPA, and was chosen as the student speaker for the December 2024 graduation ceremony. Cortez was also a proud member of the Black Student Association (BSA), where he found community, purpose, and a chance to uplift others.
