Bio

Sam Silverstine joined the Mars Hill University Sports Medicine staff in August of 2021.
 
He joins the Lions following a stint as an assistant athletic trainer at Wesley College. At Wesley College, Silverstine worked with all of the student athletes, providing quality care.

Silverstine also spent time at St. Luke’s University Health Network, Geisinger, Lock Haven University, and St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Sam is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, the Eastern Athletic Training Association, Delaware Athletic Training Association, and the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Society. Silverstine is licensed to practice in the states of North Carolina, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. His certifications include Hawk Grips Practitioner Level-I, Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and Rock Blade IASTM Certified.

Silverstine earned his M.S. in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in August 2017 and his B.S. in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in May 2016.
