Harbison Named 2016 Don Hansen Division II All-America Honorable Mention

PITTSBURG, KAN. – Senior running back Jamel Harbison has been named to the 2016 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Team as an Honorable Mention, announced today. The Don Hansen Division II All-America Team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988.
Harbison, a senior running back from Charlotte, N.C., ended the season as the South Atlantic Conference's statistical champion in rushing yards (109.5) as well as all-purpose yards (123.5) per game. Harbsion adds this recognition with his First Team All-SAC selection. During a game against Newberry on October 8 he rushed for a season high 206 yards on 41 attempts.
