Bio

Hannah Marshall joined the Mars Hill women’s lacrosse program as assistant coach in fall of 2018.

Marshall graduated from Peachtree Ridge High School in 2014 and continued her education and playing career at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise.  She was a member of the inaugural season for the Cavaliers and was part of the first graduating class from the program.  She served as team captain in 2017.

Marshall’s senior season saw her named to the All Mountain East Conference Second Team while leading the Cavaliers to the conference championship.  Marshall scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime versus Shepherd.  With her stellar postseason play, she was named to the MEC Tournament Team and Tournament MVP.

While at UVa-Wise, Marshall racked up several accomplishments as a midfielder.  She was named to the All MEC Freshmen Team in 2015 and was named Team Offensive MVP in that same year.  From 2015-17, Marshall was named to the All MEC First Team.  In 2016-17, she was named to Second Team All Virginia State, as voted on by sports information directors. 

Marshall graduated from UVa-Wise in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Health with a concentration in Sports Management.

She played under current head coach Kristina Llanes in high school club ball during 2013-2014.

Marshall is originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia.
