Lundvall Wins Tusculum Fall Classic
Emma Lundvall won the Tusculum Fall Classic on Tuesday
GREENEVILLE, TENN.- Mars Hill sophomore Emma Lundvall claimed medalist honors at the Tusculum Fall Classic held at the Link Hills Country Club on Tuesday. The tournament was shortened from 36 holes to 27 holes due to rain in the final round.
Lundvall shot a 35 in the final round to finish with a 111, one stroke better than Lenoir-Rhyne's Abbey Hartsell. Marie Syvertsen finished the final round on Tuesday with a 42 and a tournament score of 125 to finish in a tie for 23rd. Victoria Barrett shot a 41 to finish in 27th with a 126. Raven Brown shot a 50 to finish with a 143 while Lindsey Ball finished with a 49 to finish with a 144.
Mars Hill finished in fourth place with a team score of 504, moving up from sixth after the opening round. Tusculum won the tournament by one stroke over Lenoir-Rhyne with a 464.
Mars Hill returns to the links next week at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
