Women's Golf In Fourth After Day One of Coker Invitational
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Mars Hill women’s golf team finished day one of the Coker Women’s Invitational in fourth place on Monday, March 14 at the Hartsville Country Club.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Mars Hill women's golf team finished day one of the Coker Women's Invitational in fourth place on Monday, March 14 at the Hartsville Country Club. The Lions shot a team score of 364. The Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial lead the overall event after the opening round, shooting a score of 313.
Emma Lundvall paced the Blue and Gold on the afternoon with a first-round 89 (+17), good enough for 15th place overall. Teammate Sarah Johnson finished one stroke behind Lundvall in a tie for 16th with a 90 (+18), while Marie Syvertsen shot a 91 (+19). Victoria Barrett and Raven Brown posted scores of 94 and 96, respectively.
The second round of the tournament will begin tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
