JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Due to moisture leaking inside the Holt Fieldhouse, the men's basketball contest between Mars Hill and Carson-Newman has been postponed. A makeup time has not yet been determined.
With just under seven minutes played in second half, the roof of the Holt Fieldhouse sprung a leak, forcing play to be delayed and later postponed.
After entering the second half trailing 47-25, the Lions exploded out of the gates on a 19-9 run to pull within 12 before the delay occurred.
Mason Bates leads the Eagles with 12 points. Ja'Shawn Brooks leads all players with 19 points followed by Matthew Powell and Javonte Cook, each with seven.
The game will resume at a later date with 13:04 remaining in the contest.
