Mars Hill places 10th at Bob Dibble Intercollegiate Tournament
The Mars Hill men's golf team placed 10th at the end of the two-day, three-round Bob Dibble Intercollegiate Tournament.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's golf team placed 10th at the end of the two-day, three-round Bob Dibble Intercollegiate Tournament.
John Moss was the top placing Lion, shooting a combined 233 with his best round being the first, shooting a 74. Placing two strokes behind Moss was Aiden Hyder with a combined 235. He shot a team-best 77 in the second round.
Justin Pinkerton shot back-to-back-to-back 80 rounds, finishing with a total score of 240. Rounding out the Lions' scoring was Hank Berning, turning in a 245 combined score.
The Lions shot 949 as a team over the two days with their first round being the lowest at a 314.
Mars Hill returns to the links on Monday, October 23 when they play in the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invitational.
