Gustavo Palmieri enters his second year with the Mars Hill men's soccer program.

A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Palmieri started his college soccer career at Kansas City Community College competing there for 2 years. He then transferred to Grand Canyon University where he played for one year and then transferred and graduated from Coker University.

Palmieri is no stranger to the South Atlantic Conference. At Coker he led them to a Conference Championship and National Tournament Appearance in 2021. During that season he was selected as SAC Third Team All-Conference and United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-Region.

In his senior season, he was awarded SAC First Team All-Conference and United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Region.

Palmieri finished off his Coker career being named Male Athlete of the Year.
