2024 Mars Hill Men's Cross Country News

This is the 15th time in school history that Mars Hill Men’s Cross Country has earned Team All-Academic recognition.

The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 20th out of 36 teams for their highest finish in five years at the NCAA DII Southeast Regional Championship.
The Mars Hill men's cross country team finished 7th out of 13 teams for their highest finish in seven years at the South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championship.
The Mars Hill men's cross country team finished a strong 10th place of 23 NCAA Division II teams in competition and placed 17th of 36 teams overall at the Royals XC Challenge, hosted at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday evening over the 8k race distance. Sean Sanchez became the 25th fastest Mars Hill University cross country runner of all-time over the 8k race distance.
The Mars Hill men's cross country team finished a strong 2nd place among Division 2 competition and placed eighth overall at the Fire Tower Project race.
The Mars Hill men's cross country team kicked off the season with a strong 1st place showing - placing all five scoring runners in the Top 10 of the Bruins XC night Classic at Bob Jones University.

Mars Hill garnered 51 points, placing ninth in the preseason coaches' poll.
