Mars Hill falls to Converse in home opener
The Mars Hill men's tennis team (0-3) was defeated by Converse (1-1) by a score of 6-1 in their home opener Wednesday afternoon.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (0-3) was defeated by Converse (1-1) by a score of 6-1 in their home opener Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions dropped two of three courts in doubles, entering singles play down 1-0. Marcos Martinez picked up the lone Lions' win of the day in the fourth flight.
Mars Hill returns to the courts on Saturday, February 17 when they face Lander on the road. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
