Lions run at NCAA DII Southeast Regional

WINGATE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's cross country team ran at the 2022 NCAA DII Southeast Regionals on Saturday morning.

Diell Mehmedi was the top placing Lion, turning in a time of 36:56.68. He was followed closely by Blake Freeman, who ran a time of 37:25.20.

Elijah Swain and Michael Leon turned in times of 40:45.62 and 41:17.82 while Hunter Snyder rounded out the Lions' quintet with a time of 45:45.88.

Mars Hill placed 21st on the day with a total time of 3:22:11.20 with an average time of 40:26.24.
