MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's lacrosse program is pleased to announce the incoming committed players for the upcoming 2017 season. Joining the squad in January will be two athletic attack/midfielder types from the Calgary area in Alberta, Canada. Colton Playsted, from Centennial High School and Rundle College Academy, will provide skill and toughness at the attack end of the field. Also exiting the great white north this January is Keaton Lissel of William Aberhart High School and Calgary Academy. Lissel will provide more fire power at the offensive side of the field for the Lions.
Four additional players have also signed on for the 2017-18 year. Arriving this August are Parker Beaudry and Noah Landriaunt of Calgary, Alberta, Zac Carrigan from Nova Scotia, currently enrolled at the Linsly School in West Virginia and Corbett Kolb from Bristow, Va. With defense being a key role that needs filling, the Lions coaching staff is very anxious for their arrival and look forward to their development in the field game.
Mars Hill will kick off the season Friday, February 10, 2017 as they play host to Rollins inside Meares Stadium at 4 p.m.
