Lions ranked sixth in Super Region II, crack AFCA Top 25 rankings
The Mars Hill football team was ranked No. 6 in the Super Region II poll and No. 25 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll, as released Monday afternoon.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind./WACO, Texas - The Mars Hill football team was ranked No. 6 in the Super Region II poll and No. 25 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll, as released Monday afternoon.
The Lions, who received votes in Week 8 of the AFCA weekly rankings, were able to earn the No. 25 spot after their dominant 49-24 victory over UVA Wise on Saturday, October 28.
Mars Hill defends their South Atlantic Conference Mountain Division crown on Saturday, November 4 when they face Tusculum on the road. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
