Van-Rijn named to CoSIDA Academic All-District team
Mars Hill's Luke Van-Rijn was selected to the 2017-18 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Men's Basketball Academic All-District Team, as announced on Thursday afternoon.
GREENWOOD, Ind. - Mars Hill's Luke Van-Rijn was selected to the 2017-18 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Men's Basketball Academic All-District Team, as announced on Thursday afternoon.
Van-Rijn was selected to First Team in District 3 that consists of the Conference Carolinas, Peach Belt Conference and South Atlantic Conference.
The senior from Naracoorte, South Australia holds a 3.58 GPA in business administration. In 21 games played this season, Van-Rijn averages 9.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He is shooting over 35 percent from beyond the arc and is fifth on the team in points scored.
