Mars Hill ends day one of Pfeiffer Invitational in first place
The Mars Hill men's golf team ended day one of the Pfeiffer Invitational in first place Monday afternoon.
BLUFFTON, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's golf team ended day one of the Pfeiffer Invitational in first place Monday afternoon.
Mars Hill's Stephen Thomasson, Nicholas Boone and Luke Challis sit atop the leaderboard in first, second and third, respectively. Thomasson was the only golfer on the day to shoot under par. Boone ended round one even while Challis shot one-over on the afternoon.
Xisco Llinas, shooting four-over, ended the day in fifth and Jose Moreno placed 24th after round one.
The Lions shot four-over on the day, holding an 18-stroke lead over second place Baldwin Wallace heading into Tuesday's final round.
