Mars Hill places second at Lindsey Wilson Fall Invite
Payton Balliet placed fifth to lead Lions to second place finish in season-opening tournament.
COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Mars Hill women's golf team placed second at the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Classic Tuesday afternoon, opening their fall competitions.
Payton Balliet placed fifth overall, shooting 15-over at the conclusion of the three-round tournament. Chloe Sebuck finished 11th overall, playing independently.
Placing one stroke behind Sebuck was Chelsea Baker, finishing 12th overall along with Laycee Hoffman. Kyrstin Schilens finished 15th overall as Caroline Rizzo rounded out the Lions' quintet, placing 18th overall.
Mars Hill shot 135-over par over the three-rounds, holding a 26-stroke advantage over Reinhardt.
