Women's Tennis Falls to Carson-Newman
The Mars Hill women’s tennis team lost 7-2 at Carson-Newman
JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – The Mars Hill women's tennis team lost 7-2 at Carson-Newman on Saturday. The Lions fall to 3-6 overall and 0-4 in the South Atlantic Conference while Carson-Newman improves to 2-2 and 1-0.
Jasha Geerdink won at number one singles, defeating Mallory Jackson 6-2, 6-4. Jade Henke scored a victory on the fourth singles court as she knocked off Sydney Ledington 8-4.
The Lions return to action on Tuesday against Lenoir-Rhyne at 1 p.m.
