Jimenez named SAC Defensive Player of the Week
Mars Hill sophomore libero Laela Jimenez was named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill sophomore libero Laela Jimenez was named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
Jimenez, a native of Naples, Fla., totaled 51 digs on the week, with 23 in the 3-0 win vs Converse and 28 in the 3-0 victory over Winston-Salem. She also added 18 attacks on the week and recorded a double-double against Winston-Salem.
