ROCK HILL, S.C.- Mars Hill senior Tatiana Dualiby has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, league officials announced Monday. Dualiby wins Player of the Week honors for the first time in her Mars Hill career.
Dualiby went a combined 4-0 last week in singles and doubles play, leading Mars Hill to conference wins over Brevard and Coker.
In singles action, Dualiby earned victories in the No. 1 slot over Brevard's Katie Daugherty and Coker's Jessi Campos – both in straight sets. She also partnered with Lucy McLaurin to earn No. 1 doubles wins over BC's Daugherty and Michelle Prata and Coker's Campos and Sarah Elliott.
Dualiby enters this afternoon's match with Wingate on a seven match winning streak in number on singles. Duailby is 11-2 overall and 7-1 in league play. Dualiby and McLaurin have won their last five doubles matches and are 9-4 overall.
