MARS HILL, N.C. – Mars Hill head football coach Tim Clifton provides thoughts on early practices and the progress of the Jo Ellen Ammons Athletic Field House.
On Practice:
"We're excited about how hard the team is practicing right now. We're practicing extremely hard and we're fighting through the heat, but the guys are very focused on their assignments. There's been a lot of attention to detail both in the meetings and on the field."
On the Field House:
"We're excited about the field house because it'll help us with our recruiting in the fall. It's being built while fans and recruits are coming to watch the games, so they'll be able to witness its progress throughout the season."
