Hartfield Named to All-Freshman Team
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Freshman guard Justin Hartfield has been named to the 2017 South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman Team as announced by the league office today.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Freshman guard Justin Hartfield has been named to the 2017 South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman Team as announced by the league office today.
Hartfield, a freshman from Evans, Ga., averaged 7.5 points per game in only 13.8 minutes. His 47.6% from the field ranked fifth on the team and second among the rookies. Hartfield got to the charity stripe over two times a game, which was good enough for second on the squad. His best performance of the year came against Coker on February 18 as he led the team in scoring with 32 points on 13-24 from the floor and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Over the last seven games of the season he poured in a team-high 16.7 points per game and reached double-digits nine times on the season.
