Ortiz, Regalado lead Lions to dominate victory
The Mars Hill men's swimming team coasted by Union College and Urbana University Saturday evening to pick up their fourth win of the year. Erwin Ortiz won three individual races as well as being a part of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Mars Hill men's swimming team coasted by Union College and Urbana University Saturday evening to pick up their fourth win of the year. Erwin Ortiz won three individual races as well as being a part of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Ortiz won the 200 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Butterfly with times of 1:43.84, 47.54 and 52.60, respectively.
Angel Regalado won 2 individual events, being the 200 Yard Butterfly and 500 Yard Freestyle. He was also a part of the 200 Yard Freestyle and 200 Yard Medley relays that saw Mars Hill victorious.
Brendon Cyprianos won the 100 Yard Backstroke and was part of the 200 Yard Medley relay squad.
Matt Walker won the 1650 Yard Freestyle while Harrison Butler won the 200 Yard Backstroke and was part of the 200 Yard Freestyle relay.
Vitor Goncalves won the 50 Yard Freestyle and was part of the 200 Yard Freestyle and 200 Yard Medley relays.
Mars Hill easily defeated Union College 155-103. They dominated Urbana University, taking the meet 192-10.
