Mars Hill moves to 10th in Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy
The Mars Hill men's swim team moved into 10th place at the conclusion of day two of the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Saturday.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team moved into 10th place at the conclusion of day two of the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Saturday.
Bruno Ferrari set another Mars Hill record in the 400 yard IM, turning in a time of 4:07.67, shaving three seconds off of his preliminary time.
In the 200 yard medley relay, the team of Brendon Cyprianos, Matthew Goslin, Gavriel Hason, and Erwin Ortiz placed 21st overall, recording a time of 1:37.89. The team of Ortiz, Goslin, Ferrari and Alex Bouhlel placed ninth overall in the 800 yard freestyle relay with a time of 6:59.95.
Hason placed 23rd overall in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 51.46. Placing 21st overall in the 200 yard freestyle was Ortiz, turning in a time of 1:43.03. Goslin finished 22nd overall in the 100 yard breaststroke while Bouhlel turned in a 27th place finish in the same race.
Cyprianos finished 17th overall in the 100 yard backstroke, recording a time of 51.38.
Through 24 events, the Lions have recorded 352 points.
