Lions placed seventh at Agnes McAmis Memorial
The Mars Hill women's golf team placed seventh at the Agnes McAmis Memorial, wrapping up the two-round tournament Tuesday afternoon.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill women's golf team placed seventh at the Agnes McAmis Memorial, wrapping up the two-round tournament Tuesday afternoon.
Laycee Hoffman was the top placing Lion, finishing 26th overall with a combined score of 168. She shot a team-best 82 in the second round. Chelsea Baker placed one stroke behind, finishing 28th overall. She shot a team-best 83 in the first round of play.
Finishing three strokes behind Baker, Samantha Reeves placed 33rd overall, shooting 172 over the two rounds.
Rounding out the Lions team was Caroline Rizzo and Leann Crotts, placing 44th and 47th, respectively.
Mars Hill shot a combined 692 over the two days.
