Mars Hill sits in 11th after day one of 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Invite
The Mars Hill women's swim team ended day one of the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Invite in 11th place.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team ended day one of the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Invite in 11th place.
The team of Haley Horton, Leah Hinsley, Ashley Hicks, and Elena Massa placed 21st in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:41.87. Zehr Gibbs-Barger, Morgan Hall, Katelyn Southard, and Jessica Minton placed 30th with a time of 1:48.25.
In the 400 yard medley relay, Horton, Abbie Hinsley, Brianna Broussard, and Hicks placed 30th, recording a time of 4:08.31, shaving 10 seconds off of their preliminary time. Massa, Minton, Southard, and Lorna Doorman finished 32nd with a time of 4:17.87.
The Lions ended the day with 114 points.
