Mars Hill opens 2021 season with exhibition versus UNCA
The Mars Hill women's tennis team opened their 2021 season on the road versus UNC Asheville in exhibition play Thursday afternoon.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team opened their 2021 season on the road versus UNC Asheville in exhibition play Thursday afternoon.
The Lions entered singles play down 1-0 after dropping all three doubles matches. In the four seed, Aletta Macheli took the second set from Anastasia Horvat to force a third and deciding set. Horvat rallied late to secure the victory.
Mars Hill opens up their regular season at home on Thursday, February 11 when they host Lees-McRae. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
