Feeney places ninth at UNG Invitational
Nyla Feeney of the Mars Hill women's cross country team placed ninth overall at the North Georgia Invitational ran Saturday morning. The Lions placed 10th overall.
GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Nyla Feeney of the Mars Hill women's cross country team placed ninth overall at the North Georgia Invitational ran Saturday morning. The Lions placed 10th overall.
Feeney posted a time of 24:05.37 for her second top ten finish of the season. Sydney Britt was the second highest placing Lion, running a time of 26:41.41.
Rachel Strickland and Meghan Noon turned in times of 27:54.95 and 28:11.86, respectively. Hannah Jones rounded out the Mars Hill squad with a time of 35:40.91.
The Lions ran a combined team time of 2:22:34.50 with an average time of 28:30.90 per racer.

Mars Hill will next participate in the Royal Cross Country Challenge on October 12th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The race is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
