Lions finish 19th at Southeast Region Championships
The Mars Hill women's cross country team placed 19th at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Cross Country Championships, run Saturday morning.
OAKWOOD, Ga. - The Mars Hill women's cross country team placed 19th at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Cross Country Championships, run Saturday morning.
Nyla Feeney finished 47th overall with a time of 24:25.56. That time was the best by a Lions' runner on the day.
Sydney Britt turned in a time of 26:34.52 and Rachel Strickland recorded a time of 27:04.52. Meghan Noon, Kylee Peck and Hannah Jones rounded out the Mars Hill team.
The Lions ran a combined 2:15:08.82 for the 19th place finish. The runners averaged out at 27:01.77
