Lions Tied for First at State Farm Intercollegiate
TAZEWELL, TENN.-- Mars Hill's men's golf team is tied for first after the first round of the State Farm Intercollegiate, held Monday at Woodlake Golf Club.
TAZEWELL, TENN.-- Mars Hill's men's golf team is tied for first after the first round of the State Farm Intercollegiate, held Monday at Woodlake Golf Club.
The Lions shot a four-under 284 to finish the day tied with Tusculum. Adam Lumley is tied for third after shooting a three-under 69. Every MHU golfer finished the day at even par or better. Andrew Hall of Walters State CC leads all individuals with a four-under 68.

Chase Dembisky fired a one-under 71 to finish second among Lion golfers. Juan Santos, Cole Swezey and Charles Hartzog each shot an even-72 to round out Mars Hill's scores on the day.
The Lions will look to wrap-up a first-place finish when round two play concludes tomorrow.
