Lions Finish Second in State Farm Intercollegiate
TAZEWELL, TENN.-- Paced by individual champion Adam Lumley, Mars Hill's men's golf team placed second in the State Farm Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Woodlake Golf Club.
TAZEWELL, TENN.-- Paced by individual champion Adam Lumley, Mars Hill's men's golf team placed second in the State Farm Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Woodlake Golf Club.
Lumley shot a five-under 139 over the two round tournament to finish atop the individual leaderboard. The freshman has now won two tournaments in his young career. Mars Hill golfers finished with a score of 569 to finish seven-under par. The Lions finished just behind South Atlantic Conference foe Lincoln Memorial, who finished with a score of 567.

Freshman Cole Swezey placed second among Lion golfers with a two-under 142. Swezey tied for eighth overall.
Charles Hartzog finished with an even-144 to finish tied for 15th. Chase Dembisky and Juan Santos each finished with a one-over 145.
Mars Hill will conclude their fall season at the Rock barn Invitational, which begins Oct. 28 at Rock Barn Golf and Spa in Conover, N.C.
