Regalado sets school record in final day of Fall Frenzy
Mars Hill's Angel Regalado set a new school record in the 1650 yard freestyle Sunday afternoon to conclude the three day Fall Frenzy Invitational.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Mars Hill's Angel Regalado set a new school record in the 1650 yard freestyle Sunday afternoon to conclude the three day Fall Frenzy Invitational.
Regalado swam a time of 15:43.21 to take first overall. The time made the national cut and is the top time for all of Division II throughout the country.
Matthew Walker finished fifth in the same event, finishing the race with a 16:26.99 time.
Erwin Ortiz finished seventh in the 100 yard freestyle posting a time of 46.75. Elijah Sears swam a time of 2:08.24 in the 200 yard breastroke, good for seventh overall.
The men's team finished fifth overall, accumulating 853 points. Mars Hill finished fifth as a team with a combined score of 1498.5 points.
