Mars Hill sweeps Emory & Henry, King
The Mars Hill men's swim team defeated Emory & Henry and King handily by scores of 148-16 and 118-60, respectively, Friday evening.
BRISTOL, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's swim team defeated Emory & Henry and King handily by scores of 148-16 and 118-60, respectively, Friday evening.
Erwin Ortiz claimed victories in the 200 yard freestyle and 500 yard freestyle while also being a member of the winning 200 yard medley team. He swam times of 1:45.11 and 4:45.08 in his individual victories.
Angel Regaldo, who was also a member of the 200 yard medley team, picked up a victory in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:23.59.
Other individual victors were Elijah Sears in the 200 yard breaststroke, Vitor Gonclaves in the 50 yard freestyle and Jake Moore in the 200 butterfly.
Mars Hill, consisting of Ortiz, Regalado, Sears and Harrison Butler, won the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:42.96.

The Lions improve to 6-1 on the season and take on Milligan and Warren Wilson in Harrell Pool at home on Saturday, January 27th. The Senior Day meet is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
