Lions Compete at Royals XC Challenge
Mars Hill had five personal bests on Friday
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Mars Hill women's cross country team competed in the Royals XC Challenge at McAlpine Park on Friday afternoon with five runners setting new personal bests.
Shelby Robinson led the way with a new personal best 5 kilometer time of 20:01.50 to finish in 86th. Dawn Radford followed with a time of 21:02.10 to finish in 130th place. Savannah Hulbert finished the race with a time of 21:13. Nyla Feeney and Andrea Wolfrey each finished with new personal bests as the crossed the finish line in 21:33.40 and 21:33.50.
Danielle Dunn finished in a personal best 22:19.50. Justice Nelson was the final runner to finish in a scoring position as she crossed the finish line in 22:33.10. Alex Herbison finished in a personal best 22:52.30. Holly Lord crossed the finish line in 33:54.20.
Mars Hill returns to action next Friday at the Western Carolina Invitational
