MHU announces several event updates
Due to the effects of Tropical Storm Helene, several Mars Hill athletic contests have been affected for the upcoming weekend.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Due to the effects of Tropical Storm Helene, several Mars Hill athletic contests have been affected for the upcoming weekend.
Football versus Wingate, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, has been cancelled. Their SAC contest versus Newberry, scheduled for Saturday, October 5th, has been bumped up to a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Volleyball versus Catawba, originally scheduled for Friday, September 27th and versus Coker, originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st, have both been postponed. No official makeup dates have been announced as of this post.
Men's and Women's Soccer versus Emory & Henry, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, versus Wingate for Wednesday, October 2nd and versus Tusculum for Saturday, October 5th have all been postponed. No official makeup dates have been announced as of this post.
Once makeup dates have been announced for all sports and events affected, a release will go out for the respective sports with their updated game times and dates.
